Kavkaz Center’s editors have received a statement made by Rasul Makasharipov, Commander (Amir) of Islamic Military Council (Jamaat) of Dagestan, “Shariah”. The editors are publishing the text of the statement uncut.

Statement of Islamic Military Council “Shariah”

In the name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate! Peace and blessings be to Amir (Commander) of all Mujahideen (Warriors) Prophet Muhammad, to his family, to his disciples and to all of those who followed them in Jihad until the Day of Judgment!

On behalf of all people of Dagestan, Islamic Jamaat of Dagestan, “Shariah”, expresses deep condolences to the family and relatives of Aslan Maskhadov and to all Chechen people concerning the death of President of Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. “We all belong to Allah and to Him we will return!”

The Koran says:
“Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant which they made with Allah: so of them is he who accomplished his vow, and of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least” (Koran, 33:23)

Praise God, we all have witnessed that Aslan Maskhadov remained faithful to his covenant with Allah until the very end and he died the death of a Shaheed (Martyr) in a battle with Kafirs (infidels), as it befits a true Warrior and a true man! May Allah accept his Jihad and grant the highest degree of Paradise to him – the Gardens of Firdaus!

Islamic Military Council of Dagestan, Shariah, as well as all the rest of the units headed by Commander-In-Chief of Dagestan, Rabbani Khalilov, are pledging their allegiance to the new Amir of the Caucasus and of all Muslims of Russia, Sheikh Abdul-Halim.

All further combat operations on the Dagestani soil against Russian invaders and Dagestani puppet regime will be continuing without any changes in accordance with the plan of war operations ratified in the year 2005 until the next appropriate order is issued by Commander Sheikh Abdul Halim.
